1.Tele-General Practitioner

The objective of the project is to provide disenfranchised rural populations access to medical healthcare and advice, and also to provide specialist doctors the ability to increase their availability over time and distance.

Telemedicine can be broken into three main categories: store-and-forward, remote monitoring and (real-time) interactive services.

Store-and-forward telemedicine involves acquiring medical data (like medical images, biosignals etc.) and then transmitting this data to a doctor or medical specialist at a convenient time for assessment offline. It does not require the presence of both parties at the same time. . The 'store-and-forward' process requires the clinician to rely on a history report and audio/video information in lieu of a physical examination.

Remote monitoring, also known as self-monitoring or testing, enables medical professionals to monitor a patient remotely using various technological devices. This method is primarily used for managing chronic diseases or specific conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes mellitus, or asthma. These services can provide comparable health outcomes to traditional in-person patient encounters, supply greater satisfaction to patients, and may be cost-effective.

2. Tele radiology

Tele radiology is the transmission of radiological patient images, such as x-rays, CTs, and MRIs, from one location to another for the purposes of sharing studies with other radiologists and physicians. Tele radiology improves patient care by allowing radiologists to provide services without actually having to be at the location of the patient. This is particularly important when a sub-specialist such as a MRI radiologist, neuro radiologist, pediatric radiologist, or musculoskeletal radiologist is needed, since these professionals are generally only located in large metropolitan areas working during daytime hours. Tele radiology allows for trained specialists to be available 24/7.

3. Tele-Dermatology

Direct consultation involves an individual with a skin condition contacting a dermatologist via telecommunication to request diagnosis and treatment. In this field, mobile applications of tele-dermatology gain importance.

Tele diagnosis in the absence of personal contact with health care workers to the individual is complex. It requires active participation of the individual and without appropriate guidance may lead to improper management. However, as a triage tool, leading the individual directly to the appropriate specialist for his/her disease, it could be very valuable in the near future.

Specialist referral is a major area of application in tele dermatology A general practitioner (or other medical professional) that sees the individual consults a specialist/ specialised centre via telecommunication in order to get a second opinion. The specialist then helps the GP in rendering a diagnosis, providing management options et cetera

4. Tele-Cardiology

Telemedicine is the application of advanced telecommunication technology for diagnostic, monitoring and therapeutic purposes. It enables data transmission from the patient's whereabouts or his/her primary care provider to a specialized medical call center. Telecardiology is a highly developed medical discipline involving almost every aspect of cardiology, including acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, sudden cardiac arrest and others. Israel is one of the leading countries in the use of telecardiology, achieving extended survival, improvement of the patient's quality of life, and significant reduction in health costs.

5. Tele-Psychiatry

Tele psychiatry is the application of telemedicine to the specialty field of psychiatry. The term typically describes the delivery of psychiatric assessment and care through telecommunications technology, usually videoconferencing. Tele psychiatry can also make it easier for psychiatrists to treat patients in rural or under-served areas by eliminating the need for either party to travel.

6. Tele-Blood

Bloodline Module is a real-time system that integrates Blood availability, donor and recipient information. The module includes capturing the donor information, reporting of blood bag grouping and screening, collecting comprehensive information from the recipient when the blood is issued and making available the blood stock information to the 104 callers. It allows stocking of the blood bags and issue to the need. Blood bank results can be viewed by authorized users in the network either through this software or from the related Modules.

ZOLT focused on Augmenting public health delivery systems by leveraging Information and Communication Technologies and Modern Management Practices.

7. Tele-Labs

Tele-Labs is the way to provide quality lab services to rural and remote population, by using the telemedicine application. The use of portable instruments like Cell counter and Bio-Chemical analyser help the lab technicians to carry it to any remote location and perform the test there and input the results in the application instantly.
